Reasons to use our new planting technology

  • One pass tree & shrub planter.
  • The water tank holds 2,400 litres.
  • The pump on the front of the trailer module supplies the underground water injection system.
  • The water wheel directly behind the water injection system relies on gravity feed.
  • Those sitting on the planting module operate the hydraulics that lift it up and down.
  • They have radio communication with the tractor driver.

  • The water injection system can be adjusted up and down.
  • When working in conjunction with the water wheel, up to 2.5 litres is placed around and below the seedling at the time of planting.
  • Placing water under the seedling is efficient use of water and encourages the roots to grow down.
  • The water injection system links up the water placed around the seedlings with lower soil moisture.

Rotary Hoe module

  • Rotary hoe module.
  • The rotary hoed soil on the surface acts as a mulch to protect lower moisture following planting.

  •  Tree planters inspecting the planting machine preparing to start planting a previously ripped one metre wide strip

  • The planting machine is easy to tow

  • Special attachment added for towing

  • The planting machine removes all competition and prepares a seed bed that allows perfect root/soil contact.
  • The dual watering system melts the rotary hoed soil and forces out any air.

  • On a mine rehab site, this is a rock the underground water injection system hit. It activated the breakout system and within 3 minutes the planting machine was planting again.

  • As the season deteriorates, Old Man Saltbush supplies the protein while the grass supplies energy and packing.
  • The pictured Old Man Saltbush was established using the new planting machine.

  • Only 1 metre of established grass is removed to introduce Old Man Saltbush.
  • Changing the row spacing does not change the cost of establishing the saltbush.

  • The reason for introducing Old Man Saltbush is to add another perennial species to the pasture mix to achieve a more complex and balanced production system.
  • The annuals, the perennial grasses and the introduced perennial saltbush all have different depth roots.
